Starship Troopers: The Truth
I wanted to write this for a while, but I wasn't so sure about it. I finally decided "fuck it all, I'll write this." This is an essay on Starship Troopers, one of the most misunderstood books out there. I should note ahead of time that both the film and the book are fairly political, but this journal is not. It is talking about historical events, people, nations, and a book and a film. Please do not bring modern politics into the comments and instead focus on the book and the movie or at least on the various historical things I talk about here. The recent leak of the Gold & Silver beta has really sent the Pokemon fandom into an apoplexy. There is just so much to cover, but in this entry I will make a connection between the beta Cleffa and the proto-Hitmontop.
Below is the beta design of Cleffa, which really plays up the star theme. Note the orb on the top of the head.
